- The first Indian company to manufacture large-size shell-and-tube heat exchangers for a refinery

- In 1980, the first Indian company to undertake the process of Monel-weld deposits on carbon-steel tubesheets
- The first Indian company to perform titanium thin-wall tube expansion in cupro-nickel tubesheets with a four-roller expander
- The first Indian company to replace the spiral-wound gasket with Kammprofile gasket in a shell-to-tubesheet joint for Hi-Hi screw-plug exchangers.
